Red Belted Polypore 2 oz
Double extract tincture made using Water, Organic Cane Alcohol, and Fomitopsis pinicola (Red Belted Polypore) fruit bodies. Foraged in various Pacific Northwest dense old growth forests.
Known for its support in digestion and immunity, this tincture is thick, and not for the faint of palette. Its flavor profile is acrid and like bile, reminiscent of its digestive supportive properties. It can be mildly sweet if a mushroom pallet is developed.
This fierce flavor could be indicative of its potency, specifically for immune support. This species is not as well studied as some of the more popular species, so its full medicinal potency is yet to be discovered, but there are many impressive antidotal experiences surrounding serious health conditions.
This species is well integrated in biodiverse old growth and as such seems to have the most striking medicinal effects of all the species I have worked with so far.
Recommended dose: 2-3 full droppers daily.
